I'm glad you've found another pool to use, though it is disappointing to miss out on a paid membership that is close to home. Good for you for going anyway in the middle of a cold winter no less. That is dedication!

Thanks for reading and commenting. You're the best.

Good info Alys, I like the laundry hamper idea a lot. I was really hoping our pool would reopen on schedule. It's only 2 blocks away and I went 3 x a week for aquasize and lane swim last winter before our Maui holiday. But it's now postponed to April and I just can't wait (I still have $100 on the pass...urg). I've decided to go to another pool about 15 minutes away, which means driving in morning traffic for 8:00 deep aqua work out but I need to get more active. I've been sluffing off way too long. You're a big inspiration :D

I've dedicated a corner of my office as a workout space. It has an aerobic step underneath a decorative grab bar, overhead hooks for resistance cords, and a big decorative box that holds my free weights. My portable peddler sits in front of my desktop tower and underneath my little tv.
I workout or walk every day. It's like a drug, I get bummed if I don't. Good for you for staying fit!

Thanks, Alicia! You can use cardboard for lots of dividers. Old calenders if you need a long divider, greeting cards if you need something smaller. Measure the length you need as well as the height. Cut the cardboard three times the height, but the exact length. Fold the cardboard in half lengthwise, then fold each side back on itself to make "feet" to support the divider. Once you are satisfied with the fit, glue the insides together. Let me know if you give it a try.

You're so clever! Come sit next to me so I can learn even more great "re-purposings"
I wish I could use them to make dividers for the drawers in my jewelry armoire!
